The Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival is organised and run by volunteers and all proceeds go to local community groups

FAQs
How do you get to the Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival?
This fair takes place in the village of Castle Bytham in southern Lincolnshire, between Stamford and Grantham and close to the A1 turn off to South Witham and Stretton. Set your sat nav to NG33 4SB. Parking is signposted in the village.
How accessible is the Festival?
Wheelchair access to the midsummer fair is restricted to the village streets. The events field is grass but a motorised mobility vehicle should be able to navigate the main area.

A disabled toilet is available in the Village Hall. Toilets on the events field are portable units with one disabled unit available – please inquire at the Information Point, the beer tent or the food stands.
Will I have to pay to get in?
No. Parking and entry to the Festival on both days is free.
Can I camp overnight at the midsummer fair?

What are the opening times of the Festival?
On Saturday the fair starts at 10.00am with the Castle Bytham 5k Trail Run – open to everyone and family friendly. The Music Festival begins at 11.30am and goes on until 11.00pm.
Sunday all events start at 9.00am and close at 5.00pm.
Can I book a pitch for my stall at the Sunday Market?
Yes. Prices for single 3×3 pitches and double pitches are ยฃ45 (Early Bird rate before March 30) ยฃ50 (after March 30). Double and triple pitches are double and triple the stated rates.
Payment must be made at the time of booking to secure the position.

Who can take part in The Castle Bytham 5k Trail Run, what are the entry fees and how do I register?
Runners (and walkers) of all ages and abilities can take part in the 5k trail run, although under-11s must have parental or guardian approval. For entry fees for 2025 and a booking form click here. Register on the day from 9.00am or click here for the advance registration form.
What kind of music will be played?
The Saturday Music Festival features local bands and solo performers ranging from ballads to blues, jazz fusion, rock, funk and prog rock.
The Sunday live music for the midsummer fair usually features a childrenโs dance academy performance, easy listening and covers bands.
What will there be for children at the Midsummer Festival in Castle Bytham?
Saturday’s festival fun will be childrenโs fairground games and swingboats.
Sunday will feature performers with dinosaurs, fairground games and performers, duck race, swingboats, bouncy slide, have-a-go archery and Carl the famous Bubble Man.
